This appears to be a decent car. If there are no "major" rust issues,..it's more than a very fair deal.

$5K for a convertible, 383HP big block, bucket seat, console, power windows, A/C, tinted glass, and power disc brakes? Likely a Sure-Grip car.

If the miles are accurate, this is a steal at 5K.

Wow...I like the car! Convertible, 383, A/C....if it were a Roadrunner it would be worth $30k how it sits (I know it's not...but I like the car)
Have to agree with you. Agree that the price difference between your average C body and your average Cuda/charger/challenger Dart sport, etc. is way too much, and these luxury versions of those 'more popular' rides are well below what they should be. You get more car for the money. Some might be a smidge rafty here and there, but a heap of fun to drive. I'm heavily biased in favor of these Asphalt Schooners.

If it was a 70 Challenger RT, conv. no motor, rotted out so you could see through it.... You could get 30k easy enough. How about a 70 C-body conv. rotted out, no motor?....
I've had 70 Challengers, (1) RT, yes fun to drive, but not too different when you get down to it. (swap rear ends, tweak the motor if you have to...)
IMO this car is a steal as is.
