Someone should grab this fast. 440 to boot!!!!!

Another example of being able to get into the old car hobby without going broke. If the car is as solid as it looks it would be a really good deal for someone. I just hope a flipper doesn't get to it first.

That could be repainted. The closest factory color I find is L5, which wasn´t available to Chryslers.

Jay raises a good point. Looks like FK5 — but was FK5 available on ‘71 cars?

Taken from the catalog, shown on the fuselage Website.

Yukkk - beautiful car but hideous color for a Chrysler. Maybe a 2 door but for sure not a sedan. With no vinyl roof to break up the intense color. Save that color for a Dodge or a Plymmie

I’m sure other will disagree. My 2 cents.

When I started waxing our '66 Newport, in '68 or so, that expanse of paint on the roof was daunting to get waxed and buffed out, by hand. I told myself that IF I ever bought a car, it'd have a vinyl roof. Easier to use a sponge an ArmorAll and buff it off with a towel . . . which is what I did with my DH43N0D several years later.

But knowing what I now know about factory vinyl roof cars as they age, the fact this car has a painted roof is now a plus. I've now got a tall step ladder and electric buffer.

Data plate picture?

All due respect buddy, thats not close to FK5 and no it wasnt available .

Memo to self. Do not try to ID a color when using a crappy screen in a place with a poor internet connection...

Back to the car. Sedan or not, it looks good to me.

Correct or not, it's a close enough approximation of Turbine Bronze to make me weak at the knees, and it brightens up what might otherwise be a drab sedan. Haven't seen a '71 in a while, I had forgotten about those square headlight surrounds within the grille - now THAT is cool. This is a heck of a deal if the rest of it is as nice. Hope it finds a good home.........

The neat thing about the T6 car above is it was built on the same day as my R6....

Been trying to buy the T6 car for a while but the owner wants drug money
