I'm looking to add a dream car to my Mopar stable. I've always wanted a Fusie 2dr HT. Ideally a '69-'71 Chrysler or '70-'71 Fury. Not too fussed about options or colors but would need it to be complete and as close to rust free as possible. Also because I need to ship it, closer to the west coast is better but anything's possible for the right car. I've got about $5k to spend on the car. What have you got people? Anything out there? Hidden headlights would be cool...
Cheers, Al...

I don´t have any to offer, but are you sure about your budget? $5K for a 69-71 Chrysler 2dr leaves solid ones out of considering.

You think? I've seen a few things for sale on Craigslist and Facebook and such. Not after a perfect car, i'm after a good project. Heck, I just missed out on a '70 Sport Fury on this very forum that would've been ideal if I hadn't thought about it for a day.

Yes, I´m sure. A Fury, either of the C-body Dodges or an Imperial may be ticked off the bucket list with 5K and luck, but not a Chrysler in a good condition. Since you´re hunting a project, then you can get it with the budget you have.

I'm expecting a bit of work. And I have a bit of wiggle room on the price. There was a '69 Newport coupe on Hemmings for $4200 last month that looked solid, and a '71 300 that looked less solid for $6900. But i'm really liking the Furys. I think i'm drawn to the full loop bumper.

Have you eyes on 70-71 Sport Furies and 72 Gran Coupes due to their hidden headlights?

Would love a Sport Fury. Not too keen on the '72 though.
As someone who owns 2 72 coupes, I am biased. They make cool looking cars, but you have to like the wicked looking front end.

72 noses are cool, I wish they hadn't saddled them with the huge body. 70 body with a 72 nose would look better imo

Here's my other 72, it will get a set of hidden headlights. The lower bumper strip has to go, and I will probably hide those bolt heads. Starting to stash parts for this build.
This is a Fury III, but the lady that owned it wrecked the right front, and I guess they could not find the Fury III marker light, so they put a Fury II light in, so I guess it is a Fury II 1/2!

Personally I like the bumper guard on the 1972. It is done tastefully - makes the car 1 1/2 inches longer and could protect the car. I paid $$$$ for NOS and have yet to put on

More pictures of both cars please. Mine is preparing for reveal - hopefully after 4 years of everything

This is the look I am planning. The bumper guards are still on the rendering, but I think it will look cleaner. The rear wheel opening modification will be the most difficult mod for me. I have the Crossfire mirrors, but may go with painted Roadrunner side mirrors. Wheels are still undecided. I really do not like the ones on this rendering.
