hny folks!

while on a job yesterday,i came across a 1964? white imperial crown coupe
the car is wrecked hard in the front and the back,no hood no trunk,
and has been sitting like this for many years.
but the interior motor and trans are all still there.
a lot of the chrome inside is really decent and shiny.
the radio is even still there.
is there any value to any parts of this car or is it just scrap?
i think? its a 413 motor,unsure,the carb is a carter 4bbl,carb is junk
owner said his brother used to drive it daily.

please lmk,as the owner wants me to remove it along with the other scrap immediately.
im bringing a dumpster in and id rather not have to cram it in there if its got parts you guys need.

@detmatt

If the car had a "hard wreck" you can bet money that whatever it hit looked FAR worse! Might remove the car to a safe place and seek to part it out. Not to forget our friends at the Online Imperial Club.

Just a thought,

Strip the car of all the small parts, window regulators, vent wings, heater controls, radio antenna assembly etc. all that stuff is gold to somebody who needs it. Wheels probably have the wide bolt pattern and are hard to find. Bent, broken body parts are scrap. Brake drums are also hard to find. Be creative, if it still can be used save it. Most of this stuff is never going to be reproduced.

Like the others have said you may be able to save multiple cars with this one, grab it and sell it off bit by bit. If you have the space for it though.

I'll take the junk carb!

okay ill be back over there i think wed and get pics.
the car was white on white ,sorry,@ Matt
its white interior and i think it was buckets with a column shifter.
i remember looking inside and thinking altho it was dirty,it was all there.

worst part was,the car was complete and was pulled and pushed down a hillside,
with a loader to its current location which resulted in all the damage.
they decimated a unique car for no reason other than they couldnt get it to roll at the time.

as far as keeping it and parting it out.
i can pay him and skid this onto my low trailer but im kinda out of room for parts cars atm.
if any of you are in the western ny area,
and want to take the remains for whatevers fair to you,
to help the hobby,im good with that.
ill even deliver within reasonable distance if thats whats needed.

edit: Dana, the carb is literally broken and corroded, its deffo junk sir.
it Might be useable for some little parts but thats it.
the motor is more than likely setup as well,
but is complete except for the radiator.

Good to see you back in the hood there buddy!

Understood, Thanks pal.

okay,i just got back from that job.
its a 2 door imperial crown coupe,w a 413 motor trans.

the interior is Ragged in bad shape,
one of the back seat and the front seat foams are torn and missing foams.
even the door cards are wavy.
it is white seats with column shifter.
the wheels theres only 3 wheels and 2 have dings in outer rim.
honestly,id say the whole car has very few reusable pieces on it.
maybe the motor trans rearend wheels and interior trim and radio,
and some of the glass/side windows.
i paid 150 for it to save it,and i have maybe 30 in gas towing it home.
it does have that auto sentinel high beam eye on the dash tho.
and all the levers toggles and switches are still there and mostly shiny.
and the radio looks good as well.

please lmk if one of you guys wants it and ill get pics asap.
otherwise, ill grab a few pieces and scrap it.
i dont have room for this and its on my trailer atm.

Thanks for your efforts to get these parts into someone's hands. I'd imagine that sentinel eye has some value.

Certainly appreciate your effort and would be interested in seeing pics.

I would be interested in a couple window motors, window switches for the drivers door and the instrument cluster if they are in fair condition.
