Hi everybody!

I'm Olivier from France, a proud owner of a 1972 Chrysler Newport.

I bought this car from a relative who aborted the restoration project.

The car stayed since a long time in a wet shed, and need some "TLC"

Hope this forum members can help me to make my car "great again"

Here's a picture of the car. It looks like nice from far away, but every body element has to be repaired (drilled holes on fenders, rust on quarter panels, rocker panels (holes) , and bubbles Under the vinyl top.)

The car has been painted 20 years ago but unfortunately job was not correctly done. Fenders would not be disassembled and all trims surrounded the body were deleted... :drama:

Since i bought the car i first started to fix leaks on transmission cooler lines, rebuild the steering box, change the tires, and change all braking components to make the car drivable.

I have to change fuel lines, and fuel sending unit (gauge on Dashboard not working)

Belated welcome! Beautiful 1972 Newport -- is it turquoise metallic? Would love to see the interior and the fender tag!
