68 Convertible Jack mounting

Does anyone know how the jack is supposed to mount on a 68 Fury convertible. I am assuming it mounts somewhere near the right side by the spare. I don't see any brackets or mounts like there are in my "A" and "B" body cars. The base I have secured inside the spare, but not sure how to hold down the jack or lung wrench. A friend of mine has a 68 Newport Convertible and he has the same issue. We couldn't see any mounts or brackets in his car either. There is tab by the right wheel well with a hole in it, but the spare would be in the way from mounting the jack to that.

Thanks for the diagram.
I just pulled the spare out and the bracket is much smaller. it is a small "V" bracket attached to the floor pan with the "J" bolt going through it. I will have to check my friends Newport and see if it is the same as the 70 Vert. Judging from how hacked my car was when I got it, I shouldn't out someone doing that.
 
It really comes down to the jack and the hook sit on the floor and the tire lays on top of them.

The convertible stows the spare tire in the passenger side of the trunk, as shown on the sticker pictures. The owner's manual picture is not for convertible.
 
Everything sits on the floor and gets pinned in place by the spare tire. I found in my '68 and my '70 that rough roads would cause the jack parts to move around and rattle, so I use a few shop rags to keep everything quiet. The shop rags come in handy. Having said that, I consider the factory jack to be an evil tool so I use a bottle jack. Thing is, if you have a flat you can't get the bottle jack in place because of clearance. In that case the factory jack will get the car up enough to use the bottle jack. Takes longer, but it's safer.
