Let's see some Wagons!

Love those front ends and that's a nice color combo there !
Thanks! Originally I wasn't a huge fan of the 72/73 Monaco front end styling but in time it has really won me over. Here's a few more pictures.

What parts are you taking off of it, 70SS...?
It doesn't really look that bad to part out....

Everything I can front floors not good sub frame pretty bad from the guys moving it around both passenger doors pushed in. Tailgate push in pretty good also no paperwork and I'm sure the motor probably won't turn carbs been off who knows how long. This wagon will help my 2 wagon's and a buddy's 71 Police wagon does have power windows and 9 passenger seat.

Polara71, I absolutely love the "sunroof" wagon in post 47. However I don't believe they ever made a wagon with a sunroof. Unless that's a very rare model. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. I remember seeing it for sale online a couple years ago too, believe now since sold. I really like the wagon in post 50 as well. Both very nice looking. Two thumbs up:thumbsup:

I do believe that was a special order, super high option (3 fender tags or something like that) wagon and it is a factory sunroof car. I remember many many moons ago when that car first surfaced....un-restored and sold for I think $3500!

I think it sold for a little more than that. I found the ad for it on the now defunct stationwagons.com website and told a friend about it. He flew up and drove it back to Florida. It was special ordered, the ONLY wagon that ever received a sunroof ( unless another one surfaces). I could have traded a 71 GTX for it back then. But didn't. It sold a couple times over the years since my friend bought it.

This photo was taken April 7, 2003. That is me hanging out of the sunroof. It did not come with those wheels, but gold steelies with poverty caps. One of my many "ones that got away". And if anyone is wondering that is a 1 of 5 1970 Ranchero Squire 429CJ 4spd with air and shaker hood.

Finally some decent weather on one of my days off work, so I'm messing around in the driveway!

I saw a story somewhere on the sunroof wagon years ago that it was originally ordered new by a small town police chief in Pennsylvania

Love the Utah plate. No connection to Utah, just love the plate.
Thanks Scott, I really like it too. I asked the previous owner if he had an old plate that he wouldn't mind letting go. Not sure whether this one was actually used on the wagon though.
