Just needs some tires, new door molding, a correct washer bottle and should be good to go!

Donated vehicle, it says. Sad to see this ol' gal end up in a place like this.

Link not working. Looks to be really rust free for and East Coast car. 4 flat tires are not much of a selling point, but the interior is not all that bad and the car is worth fixing if it can be bought right. Appears to be a 360 2 BBL car. Never understood the green and gold combo, but to each his own.

Hope someone can save her..

The link worked for me. Says it’s in South Boston, Ma. not South Boston, Va. Current bid is $325 ends Feb 4th at 10 am

It'd be good to have pics of the trunk pan and underside, but I see no rust in the photos provided in the listing. Unless I am mistaken, the full-width original rubber mat is still in good shape and protecting the front carpeting. The carpet on the transmission tunnel in the rear seems quite clean, too. On this basis, my guess is that the original owner (or the first two owners) took good care of the car but the heirs can't be bothered and are now getting rid of it.

Hope it finds a good home, it seems like a great way for someone to start real cheap. This Fury looks like a much better bet to me than the cream/green '72 Polara currently for sale at $1k.

Even without extra photos, it may be worth the gamble. The reserve has not been met at $325, but how wrong could one go even $1,325? And for our friends in Europe, this one is in Boston -- should be the closest port to ship out to the Old Continent, and there is no cross-country ground transportation needed.

The auction ends in just over 2 days.

It's a Fury III and yes, with a 360 & A/C it is a great car for someone who loves 4 doors or someone starting out. Says mechanical damage. Same color combination and interior as the 71 Fury III 2 door I sold last fall.

Saw this one and considered it too. Ends up being a litttle too expensive (and probably get beaten up) to ship to Kentucky. Should clean up nicely. I for one love the color combo. So perfectly de rigueur! In my fantasy world, it has a set of SF GT disc wheels and no one notices it being a sedan.

Yeah,it just looks so odd in the pictures with the door open, those colors just don't go together at all.I don't mind that green interior, though, but only in a green, black,or white car.

FYI, it is actually located south of Boston in the area where the Cape Cod section of MA begins.

Boston eh? I know you want to make the trip and keep it for me till I get home next year

It's about 2.5 hours from me. I think Turboomni is closer. I have no room for indoor storage right now. Having said that and with my truck off the road for the winter, find someone to get it to me (I know someone who might be able to do that) and I would work something out with you to store it outdoors until you can come get it. If you are serious, Co-Part might give you a good price on moving the car. They have another yard around 25 minutes from me as well as yards all of the country and likely move cars around all the time as they do offer delivery service for folks that by wrecked cars from them.

It's here. Search by lot number, no price just sez:

I never saw a number over $325. I would’ve loved this car at even triple that price. Trouble was, In addition to transport logistics, Kentucky buyers need to use a broker to buy. Only realizing that on Sunday and having to shell out $400 for the privilege I got kinda turned off. Was hoping someone on the forum would’ve gotten it. Search goes on.

JD Hall. Try auctionbidmaster.com. Allows you to bid on copart vehicles. They are your broker is how I understand it. Still have the extra fees but you don't have to search through and find a reputable broker.

Aww dang, I feel like a dummy now. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it reposts due to reserve not being met.

I bet it does too later.

I only just found out about the site a few days ago while watching a video on YouTube.
