Beautiful, though they say the trunk lid should be plain. Considering the 18,500 cost I would think you could have the flight sweep lid if you wish.

They even suggest it could be re-restored but at what cost? I'd keep it like this.

Good luck to its eventual new owner.

I think we have seen shots from the vendor’s garage before. If I recall correctly, the vendor had a white Fusie Imperial for sale that time. I think he used to be a Chrysler-Plymouth dealer somewhere in Colorado for 35 years or so.

I adore the Ghia Imperials, but only the ’64-’65 variety. I always thought the Exner Imps looked simply too sinister, and the Ghia makeover only made them look more so. This maroon one looks more civilized, though. The interior is beautiful. (It’s fine wool cloth; the cold leather seat is best left for the driver.)

I thought the color combination was kind of striking and somewhat unusual on this kind of vehicle.

I actually bought a 1960 Imperial coupe for restoration purposes mainly because it had a special order paint code color that matches this limo and also with a tan interior. I think it would be striking to do it, but I am estimating it needs to go to another home where someone has more time to complete it than I do. It also has a nice body with little rust at all, but it would also need a parts car to go along with it since it has been pretty well parted already. I can't save them all anymore. But I have done my part and then some........... :BangHead:

I also just let another 1960 Imperial coupe go last weekend for the same reason (it was really painful - I originally bought it from Bob Saigh, also on this forum, but I was convinced it would go to a better home where it could be finished soon by a friend that has what is needed to get it done better than I do given my current excess of cars). This powdered bronze one was bought brand new just 15 miles from where I live, then went to Bob Saigh in Iowa and hibernated for some 30 years there is good storage, and then came back here to me. Now it is going to the Bay Area of California where I was convinced it would have a great home with an avid collector with the means to do it very well. I am looking forward to seeing it done in the not too distant future. These were all great cars.
