He absolutely has the highest VIN on a '78 known, period. It's 183615, with a fender tag SBD of 6/26. The MDH is 061413, and it has a strange SO# on the fender tag of DT1760. The pics he sent me are sure indicative of a <400-mile car to me, and I've done PPI's for customers since 2000.

That car is 101 cars past the 183514 we thought was the end.
