Welcome Ed Wagner to FCBO!

Thanks! Glad to be here. Found you by chance Google search. I was at work so all I had time for was getting account set up. I'll post a little more this weekend, and pics of my 70 Newport Custom. Attaching a pic though of the whole lot of projects. The '57 will take precedence this summer. The 70 still runs... leaps and bounds ahead of the 57!

You guys have some nice looking cars! What year is that Wildbunch02? My brother has a 76 Newport that only had 21k on it when he bought it.

Welcome! Just around an hour north of you near Morris.

Thanks for the "Welcomes" Glad to be here.

My '70 Newport Custom my folks ordered almost full loaded from Brown Motors in Macomb, IL. They wanted burnt orange, but had to settle for the Bahama Blue to get the options they wanted. THANKS GOODNESS! Haa. It is some similar shade blue now, but will go back BB when I'm done!

It was the family car until the late 80's, and continued as Dad's commuter car until he retired in 94. Since then it hasn't seen much use, as it was usually in some form of automotive repairing. Except for the underside rust issue I have right now, it runs fine. I still tool around in the summer in it once in a while. But, it's next on my list for a mechanical restoration. Keeping the interior original. Considering what it has seen, especially the sunlight sitting out at work all day, it is in amazing condition! Just that funny old car smell, lol.

Welcome -- nice car! Do you have a pic of the fender tag? I see some nice options indeed.

My '71 Monaco being taken care of in Rockford, Illinois by @71Polara383, just 2 hours straight north of you.

Will you be coming to the 3rd Volo meet in mid-June?
