Agreed, but strange that the rear is so jacked up...

I bet the car was unused for a long time and he had to pull the gas tank out. Spring shackles flipped when he had the springs disconnected and he can't get them flipped back. I've done it before, and it can be a real ***** to get them back into the proper position. Since he's not interested in fixing the rear window with a $15K asking price, I'm not surprised he doesn't want to mess with the shackles anymore, along with probably a bunch of other things that need attention.

That thing is about ten grand OVER priced..
An almost NO option car
and the only electric window,, doesn't work...
The front seat is split but covered to hide it..
Brakes don't work, suspension needs work.....
It is a clean looking wagon that needs some love...
Just not at 15 grand...

These are other cars he ownes and has for sale...………….

1972 Dodge Polara Custom with 400/727. 96,043 miles. Beige/cream exterior, white/light beige interior. Good (driver) condition. Passenger side fender needs painted, rest if car could be buffed to high shine. $8,950.00 somewhat negotiable.

1973 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham with 440TNT/727. 77,691 miles. Yellow/gold exterior, gold/core interior. Good (driver) condition. Slight hail damage on roof, hood and trunk lid. Had a vinyl roof originally but was removed at some time. Roof needs a little bit of body work by the sail panels (where roof meets rear quarter panels). Do minor cosmetic touch up repair or repaint car if desired. Interior is in excellent condition. $9,850.00 somewhat negotiable.

1971 Dodge Monaco with NCode 383/727. 35,624 miles. White exterior with black vinyl top and burgundy interior. Could use as is in driver condition (only visible work needed is replacing trunk lid; I already have a near new replacement lid). Very minor cosmetic TLC needed. $10;950.00 somewhat negotiable.

Two (2) 1972 Dodge Monacos with 360/727. Non running, mostly complete. Both in medium metalli0c green exterior with vinyl top and dark green interior. Definitely can make/restore one car out of the two and resell the other one. Keep the best, sell the rest. Some rust on both cars at the bottom of the roof sails where it meets the area above the trunk lid. $6,500.00 for both, somewhat negotiable.

I have also a 1970 Plymouth Fury III with 318/727. 60,501 miles. Yellow exterior (one awesome repaint), original black vinyl top and black interior in extraordinary condition. Gorgeous car. $18,950.00.

Another 1972 Dodge Polara Custom with 400/727. Yellow exterior with black vinyl top and gold interior. Custom wheels. 39,731 miles! Gorgeous car. Runs/looks excellent. $21,950.00.

1972 Dodge Monaco with 400/727. Completely restored to better than new. Everything redone new or NOS. Absolutely perfect. Over $87,000.00 spent on restoration! Will sacrifice at $65,000.00. Buy it with the other two 1972 Monacos (above) for $69,000.00.

I saw this car last night on Facebook. What I noticed was that in almost every picture the hood was open. I was wondering if it would close? I finally saw a picture of it closed.

Hmmm...so he's not listing the other wagons? I'm guessing the 72 Monacos he's got up for sale are 4 doors.

He's nuts on almost all those cars...

Agreed, but strange that the rear is so jacked up...

I actually know what may be happening regarding this.... mine came the same way off the carrier when delivered. The clue is the arched leaf springs.

The rear shackles have flipped forward and locked up against the body.

Need to put it on a lift, loosen the shocks, flip the shackles back as you raise up the rear end with a couple of screw jacks. Easy fix.

Not so easy is the wrong woodgrain. The correct Dinox (or very similar) rosewood is now available so this is a big no no.

But the asking price is interesting. A bit high but room to move.

This is a fairly low optioned car: no rear step up handles, no power windows, no power seats..... no FM radio... no tilt telescopic steering wheel....no power antenna.... etc. etc. Town & Country wagons were the top of the line and usually loaded. But not this one.

It is ;or appears to be in good shape and the mileage is probably ok.

That said, I wonder what it will sell for. I think it’s worth maybe $9-10k.... IMO.

And to think I was chastised for saying it needs too much with so few options
and being wayy over priced......

73 T&C, who has the "Dinox (or very similar) rosewood" (Di Noc) ... ?

When I removed the previous owners lowering blocks from my wagon, the shackles also flipped during reassembly. Initially it was overlooked, but I figured it out after quite a bit of confused struggling.
Until more is corrected on this T&C I believe it's going to sit a long time at the asking price.

3M....I think they actually have it in the proper self adhesive material. You just need to dig around this and the 3m websites. I need to get some just to have for mine..... eventually. For now, it’s iriginal and still looks ok but the roof rack strips need replacing from damage before I got it.
