If anyone knows where I might be able to find a nice driver’s side quarter panel for a 1970 Sport Fury, i’d appreciate the lead.

Thanks

Desert Valley had a 1970 Formal coupe in inventory last time I checked.
If you checked online, their inventory is never updated. Last time I went out there (last fall), they had no Furies in stock. Maybe you've been out there more recently?

What happened Tom? I thought you repaired yours.

Too much filler, which I knew might be a problem. Once I got that piece welded in, I realized how far down the quarter it was caved. Should have either taken it to a professional or found a better panel at that point. I knew better, but I was under financial and time constraints so I risked it. I guess I at least can finish up the rest of the car and then get it fixed properly. I'm not sure if a pro can work with what is there, but it seems like it might just be cheaper/easier to source a nice panel and have them weld that in and re-paint.

I first saw it online years ago, and it was still on the website last time I had checked. On their TV show, they claim that they never get rid of anything, but I have a feeling that isn't true, based on cars that I remember seeing on the website 10 years ago that are no longer there. After seeing how they operate on the show, I'm not surprised that they don't keep the website up to date.

I'm still looking for one if anyone knows of one somewhere. I didn't think it'd be this difficult to track one down, but it has been.

Give Murray B. Park a call. He is a little slow in returning calls, but will get back to you. Has the largest salvage yard for c body.
