I stroked my 440, so I have a nice original std. / std. crank for sale.
Came out of a 1968 440 350 hp. My machinist measured it up and said that it is still within spec and just needs to be polished or you can turn it down .010 / .010 if you like.

$450 plus shipping (can use Fastenal shipping)

Neat item! Only thing is that if the pistons it will be used with vary from the weight of the '68 440/350 pistons it is factory-balanced for, some "touch-up" on the balance might be needed. Looks like the engine was well-maintained!

The engine was probably well maintained in the day, but it sat for 34 years. When I got it, after flushing, oil change, etc., it fired up, but I could not get it right. When I tore it apart the wrist pins were so tight, I am surprised it ran at all.

I will throw in the pistons and rods with the crank.

The press-fit piston pins should be tight, but the rod ends on the pins should not. Possibly varnish or similar?

All I know is that the piston should pivot and I had all I could do to move it. I would say it was varnish.

I have no idea, what these cranks are worth.

I will lower the price to $350.00 along with the rods and pistons.
