Hi
Has anyone replaced the side window weather strip/ guides with this kit CHRY32230?

I don’t want to make a mistake on this
The weather strip looks different than the FSM diagram

I have a 66 Polara Convertible manual windows

That should work with straight glass. It won't work with curved side glass (like a fuselage) .

I found that the passenger side is still somewhat intact
Here’s a side by side comparison

If you look closely your window guides are only u shaped. No wings. The wings may make your windows too tight and may need trimmed off. Just some advice so you don’t tear the new ones up

The original sliders were larger and had felt covering the part that was supposed to slide in the track. The new sliders are smaller and do not have the felt covering. They should go under the "wings". Do not cut the wings to expose the sliders. I made this mistake once and had to buy another set and do the job over. :(

A day late...

I tried without cutting the felt and they were too tight trying to run up into the vent window channel in my opinion.
I did cut out the channel and hope this will work.
I only have one good original channel guides & pin out of 4
I'll post an update if it is a total failure...
