1969 Chrysler Imperial
1969 2 Door Imperial LeBaron. The body is very solid with no rust on the frame rails or stub frame. The rocker panels are also very good/rust free. It does have rust in the roof skin from moisture getting under the vinyl top many years ago. The roof support structure is fine. The passenger side quarter panel has been repaired at some point where the fender skirt attaches at the rear, there is bondo in that area, but the rest of the quarters and rockers are rust free. The trunk floor has minor surface rust but is very solid. The floor pans are in good shape except for a few small holes in the passenger side where water set in the grooves at some point.
The car is complete and runs/drives/stops, however the brakes need to be completely gone through and I would recommend overhauling the engine due to the gaskets and seals needing replaced from it sitting for many years. I have only driven it around the yard, it is not currently road worthy. The brakes work good enough to get it on any trailer. It was last tagged in the early 80's so it set for quite some time before I got it.
All of the lights work, including the sequential turn signals and the headlight motor. All four windows work as well as the power seats and wipers. I've went through all 4 windows to lubricate and get them working well.
I have a nice drivers side fender, passenger side door and entire roof I can include for extra $$ with the buyer if desired.
Any questions just call or text. I can certainly send additional pictures of anything you'd like to see.

This one was on ebay earlier, no reserve auction and sold...

Pictures are same, is the seller too?

This one has been floating around for a while. It looks a little better now then when it first surfaced, when it was being used to store tires on the back seat.
Surprised it's not in Europe yet.

It's still mine! The Ebay "buyer" paid the deposit and never showed up. I may just end up keeping it, darn the luck....

Looks nice, wonder what the cost to repair roof rust and passenger rear fender properly- removing the bondo and repairing as it should have been would cost?

Not looking for another car, but I hope this gets done by someone as it looks nice.

@ Blimp - Just curious, how could you possibly "disagree"?
Not sure if you extracted some unintended meaning out of the two words I wrote.. The 69' has gills, with or without our consent!

I must have mistakenly "fat fingered" that button, sorry about that

No worries.... I was just curious.. :D and.. could not imagine anyone disliking "THE GILLS"

Chrysler should have kept the gills throughout the entire fuselage era IMO.

It's a '70, that I want to focus on because the '70 grille is my favorite of the Fuselage Imps!

Nice choice! I can't say single favorite because all Fusie Imperials look awesome IMO. The 69-71s too despite most posts leaning towards the 72-73s.

Car was delivered to her new owner today in Louisville. Glad it will be staying in the USA!
