I miss Comiskey Park. Went to a lot of games there. Cell Field is OK but........it’s still BASEBALL!

First thing I started thinking about was that my wife will be wearing Summer Dresses again...

Woohoo! We're in first place!

My buddy must be at the game, wearing shorts.

Before Harry wrapped up his career with the Cubs, he did around 10 seasons with the White Sox and Jimmy Piersall. Together, they were a real hoot. During a lull in one game and after Harry had a few Falstaffs (remember Falstaff?), they were really rambling. Piersall said something that didn’t make sense (he did that a lot) and Harry said “You know, I think your crazy!”, to which Piersall calmly said “No Harry, I’ve got papers that say I’m sane! Do you have papers like that?”

Brew Crew wins 5-4!

:usflag:

I CDC was a HUGE twins fan until the Seattle Pilots moved to Milwaukee and became the Brewers. We used to go to games at the old Metropolitan Stadium. Still have my baseball autographed by Cesar Tovar, Tony Oliva, Rich Reese, Harmon Killebrew and Jim Katt. Man those were great times for a 12-14 year old!!

Tigers won their season opener with an amazing pitchers duel.

My buddy at the game, he used to get dropped off at the stadium with his brother, while his old man listened to the game at the bar! He'd head for the stadium when it got to the 9th inning, and pick the boys up.
