Been watching some old videos this winter. Beverly Hillbillies opening credits (as they roll into town). There is a large white car shadowing them on the passenger side - what make/model? I know that ChryCo sponsored them . . . but it doesn't look like any 62 Chrysler product that I know of. I've run it, and rerun it, and paused it a dozen times - actually looks more like a Ford product to me - Continental maybe? What do you all think?

The car you see from 28-32th seconds….?

Lincoln or olds…..

The 1st picture is season 1episode 1. 1961 Chrysler

2nd pic it looks like a suicide door Lincoln

My guess would be a 61 Oldsmobile 88 if you talk about the passenger side at around 29 sec.

Thanks DeltaV . . . you nailed it! That's a lot clearer image than I ever saw. Now I can sleep at night, for the first time in months!:thankyou:

Looks more like a Lincoln now. The angle of the Color opening seems a bit different though.

I'll vote for it being a '62 Lincoln. Here is one for comparison.
