Rolex watches . Why? Give me one good practical reason to wrap 10 grand around your wrist once a month... :realcrazy:
And in the drawer the other 30 days.

I spent a lot of money for watches, too.
I have a 80s type casio and paid 15$ for it 12 years ago.
But it is heavly worn now so I bought a replacement already.
Another similar casio but this time I had to invest 25$ already.

obv you are a great investor!

i like both..just sold one i paid 1800.00 for 20 yrs ago...for 32000.00... not a bad investment.. cars are great but they are money pits.

lower price 4000.00 must sell... if not sold in a few weeks will be parting car out since so many people want parts off it.. NEED IT GONE NOW

i just need it gone bill.. getting things cleaned up here and hope to get back to california at summers end.. its just not the kind of car people want sadly..rare yes.. desirable... sadly not.. pass the word around.. if you need parts off it let me know

Somebody needs to buy this thing. GTs have been hot commodities around here lately and this is the real US Promo car, only one of two with the T-Code motor. Yes it has body damage but look at those floors, its a solid Colorado car. Dan started at $8,900 on this car so his current price is more than half off.

This is a special car built was '70 GT engine and built the first few days of August 1970. It's sister car, the promo car for Canada has the same style of tailpipe hangers used with the 70 GT tips so maybe both promo 71 GT's had tips as they were apparently built before all the details such as available engines were worked out.

Dan, the panel below the instrument panel black like the '70 GT's or the same color as the dash?

clean title.. not missing anything really.. maybe some small stuff would be all.. lower dash was gold iirc... would have to go look to make sure...all 71 furies with dual exhaust used the tip hangars off the 70.. they just used a squared off U bracket to connect it to the std tail pipes.. no sheet in either promo car

Thanks, sounds interesting for sure. Are you located in WA state?

I think this is a whorthwhile undertaking if you had the time and money. I think it would add up with paint & body, interior, engine, other mechanicals, tires, wheels, stripes, labor, labor, labor. I am sure someone here has a much better estimate on total costs to restore. $?

needs total resto has been sitting since the late 70's..

You guys should pick it up. It would cost any of us out east at least $2500 to ship. If it was local to me I would definitely check it out.

FYI, I have bought one C Body for Oregon and another from the Seattle area. For the right car at the right price, you can't worry too much about the shipping cost if you want the car.

Lots to like about this car. Very reasonable opening bid. Good luck Dan.
