Okay here goes. I picked these up from 69SportSatellite. He went the extra mile- literally- to make this happen for me. Thanks man !!!

The fronts are power. I’m the only driver so I’m just going to install them in a fixed position (for me) and not mess with all the power stuff underneath. We spoke about how these will fit and I’m not sure if a buddy seat was fit in between them as originally installed in the Imp. It sure measures out to be approximately the same as my broken and beat up bench.

Expert opinions would be nice but I’m 99% sure these will install like a bench and pretty much meet in the middle.
Here’s the pics have at it & let me know what you guys think...

Even did math on a Friday!!!

I’m guessing they won’t fit but I’m interested because I have the same set of seats laying around my place and maybe I can make them work in my Road Runner.

The front seats should bolt right in. You just need to locate the dimples in the floor to drill the holes for the inner tracks.

From the factory, most, but not all cars with bucket or split bench had extra support braces that were held to the underside of the floor by the seat mounting nuts, but they aren't critical to have.

I know what you mean. I’ve switched a bunch of b bodies from bench to buckets and sometimes the brackets make them lean funny. My main goal is to have these ape the old bench with no gap in between. We’ll see. I’m not starting any trouble until after the Van Nuys Show next weekend but I’ll post pics when I yank everything out. Worst case I make my own seat tracks like in my ‘66 Dart. That was bench to ‘65 mustang buckets. It worked...

Good luck, I told my cousin about those seats when he was looking for an option in his gutted Charger. You got a great deal. Keep us posted.

I wanted those rear seats for my '67 but they were on the wrong coast. Good luck with the transplant, if you can't use them let me know.

I weep to think what became of whatever gave these up. :(
Story I heard was that the car was done for. It’s drivetrain was pulled and these seats were saved with no real purpose but to save them from the shredder, just in case someone could use them. The condition really is incredible. I’d really like to dye them teal blue but they’re just too old and too nice to do it. They made it this far so I’ll just keep them black.

Thanks for thinking of me Matt.... but not even close to my pattern. Two different patterns would make me insane! LOL

Mine aren't that bad, but I'm always looking. If nothing comes up, I'll have the guy that did my fronts, do the rear. He did an awesome job.

I’m sure you’ve run into this before. Is there an easy way to adjust the rake and front - back etc with the seats out and the motor dead? I figured I’d get them adjusted for me since me & my brother are the only ones that drive it and worry about the power stuff later. I just want them in the car. Let me know what you think. I’ve helped hurt motors before by pushing the button and pushing the seat along by hand but this will be a completely different sport with them out of the car...

You can hook up a battery direct to them and move them freely on a bench as long as you have the controller which I assume is still mounted to those beauty’s.

What are you doing with the rear seat? Because that's for sure not going to fit.

My buddy that does old school upholstery said he can make them fit my back seat no problem. He said anybody can make bigger fit smaller but nobody can make smaller fit bigger! Or he can just copy the pattern. He said the material is in great shape but UV might evaporate the thread really fast. The same thing that kills good but old headliners. The thread just evaporates and they fall apart at the seams. We’ll see.

Did my homework on fitment. The fronts sit a bit higher at the belt line but once the rake is set they’ll be great. Now that back seat is huge compared to mine. Not even the same sport...
