70 Newport Rear springs

You weren't paying attention..... I was careless on the last and almost broke an arm. .. .yes, did five Polaras in the last dozen years or so

Glad you didn't break that arm. One of the new springs dropped down on my leg last night, but caused no damage thankfully.

Glad to see you got it done!

I don't know if this will help, but here's a measurement right after I put the new springs in my 300 a couple weeks ago. Mine are stock height.

Thanks. Yup I got er done. The *** end doesn't bottom or squat when I lay on it or driver over train tracks. I think the ride height is nice. Almost feels like a different car. I think next project is gonna be front disc brakes.

Anyone know where I can get NOS offset shackles and front spring hangers for a 1970 300?

Damn. I was hoping Gary was back.

That's been discussed quite a bit, Ed.
I understand they are unobtanium but I'll defer to the Fusie experts to explain it to you.

Someone mentioned that Springs and Things were talking about making them.

Reach out to them. I sent them an offset to reproduce as per their request . I haven't heard back.
Keep us posted .
Are you gonna get them back? I had to chase a well known Mopar vendor for months to get my roofrail seals back.

Why do you need NOS? The hangers are the same form ‘70-‘73. Blast them, paint them, use them, that’s all I did.
