I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

Congrats!! That's gotta be a great feeling getting a brand new car with under 10 miles in it!! I've been looking at these as well. They're actually pretty reasonably priced! I'm still torn between saving up for a hc though. I know a scat pack would make an awesome daily!! Too bad they didn't keep the Chrysler 300 srt going in the states!

I was looking at HC while my Scat Pack was getting prepped. $100k for the HC.....

I've noticed a lot of people with the Hellcats and SRT8's leave them on as some kind of status symbol. I pointed it out to my Dad on his, turns out he just didn't know they were there for shipping!

Dad also put his into a guardrail at 80+. The yellow pieces didn't help much.

Like I said earlier I talked to 2 guys at the dealer today and they put them back on. The guy with the Charger had to replace his splitter in less than 3 months.

I hope your Dad is OK.....

I strongly wondered why you bought the 300...

Nice car, now this makes sense. Please take the yellow protectors off the chin. Oh and please, ask Bruce, where the He'll are Dave's tags . ??

Before I forget.....

I was looking at ALL of the interior specs last night between the Charger and the 300. Most of them are exactly the same.

I bought floor and trunk liners for my 300 from Weathertech. I looked up the floor and trunk liners and they are the exact same part numbers. Tomorrow I'll put them in the Charger. I have a real good....brand new car cover and I'm going to check and see if that is the same part number too.

Awesome Bob, congratulations! Looks like a great ride! Enjoy, but it's not all about straight line speed you know. I'm sure it will handle the real world twists and turns pretty darn well too!

Congratulations!. I've been saving to upgrade my 17 year old Dodge 2500 to a new Ram 2500. I could swing a Scat Pack if I can convince the wife. What's the towing capacity?

You know.....I didn't even check if it had a trailer hitch. Lol

I'm hoping to stay away from guard rails and crashing into other stuff too. I have had some fast stuff in the past and never had a major crash. I'm a little older now so I'm hoping not to put myself in a crash situation.

You're livin' large Bob! When the new Chargers first appeared with 4 doors, they gain a lot of attention. I liked them then, but now, they're the best looking vehicle Mopar has to offer, and having all that power under your foot is a very nice bonus!
The stance, new rear spoiler blacked out wheels, SRT power and the 392 badges sets this car waaay ahead of the competition of just about anything on the road nowadays.
Congrats on your new purchase.
The only question I have is, which car will you have more fun driving at 120MPH?

If you are worried about damage to the splitter, but want to ditch the yellow guards maybe you can get some of that clear protective film put over it by a shop that does tint & clear bras.

Wow Bob you moved fast on that one! Great choice and glad it worked out at the Dealer for you! Now get those 500mls on her and start ripping up the pavement!!

I would like to thank Graham for his rock solid advice on how to negotiate the best price. I rejected the first two offers from Cook Dodge and the Sales Manager finally came over to talk to me. The next dealer 15 miles away had a very similar Scat Pack and the Sales Manager knew if he didn't meet me somewhere close to happy that he was going to lose an easy sale. There are 2 more dealers within 15 miles....all have a Scat Pack Chargers. Of course I didn't let him know the one in Aberdeen was the one I really wanted and was on his showroom floor.

Thanks Graham!

We will see. I'm going to leave them on for now. I will take a look at other cars at Carlisle and see what the other cars have done. The Scat Pack doesn't have the front park sensor feature so I'm super careful pulling up to anything with a curb or has those parking stops.

I'm kind of glad I waited for the 2019 model. This year is the first for Scat Pack Charger to have the line lock and launch feature. They were only available on Hellcats and Demons previously.

Nice. That’s faster than my old AAR ‘cuda !!! And it has cruise, AC, power everything a kick butt radio and I bet it gets better than my 6 to 8 mpg to run 12.90’s. Awesome. Enjoy it!!!!
