I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

I didn't get the technology group either, but I did get the dynamics package for the 6 piston brake calipers. I went a little nuts with options, I am still trying to figure out where the 19 speakers are located for the Harmon Kardon system. You will receive an e-mail from Dodge in a few weeks with some diagnostic info, it will even tell you your current oil level, tire pressure and fuel level. Yes I know technology is here to stay, but I think it is a sad testament of the general public. People today are dumb/don't want to know how to use an oil dip stick, tire pressure gauge or use their eyes to look at a fuel gauge. Pathetic. Yesterday I received an e-mail informing me that I can tell "Alexa" (I don't own one of those spy gadgets)to start the Dodge. The same part of the general public that found it difficult to turn a key in the dash, can no longer muster the energy to push the start button on the dash or on the fob. I feel autonomous biting at my ***!
That's a nice rant to be proud of.
Autonomous cars will be the death of all these fun cars.
Mopar Action has a article on running a 1/2 mile drag race in a Red-eye Challenger and a test and tune. They were unimpressed with the Pirellies. Maybe start researching for better tires now. I know a set of tires would not last me long on one of these cars

I haven't driven the 6.4 in a car. I'd like too, however the 5.7 is a beast in the Challenger as it is, I'm fine with it.
The 5.7 in the 2500 was ok but clearly underpowered . When I went to the 6.4 the difference was impressive. The giddy up and towing power was very good. Almost unthinkable since there isn't much of a size difference.

I was very surprised in the power difference. Just unbelievable!

I haven't driven a Hellcat or a Demon.....yet.

My dealer printed a letter size version of the window sticker for me for my files, ask your salesman, he did it in a few minutes for me.
This is what the file says that he has when he opens it.....

Those Chargers look awesome in black, hope to see it, and you, in July Bob.

I'm 99% certain you'll see me at Carlisle with the Charger. I'm really looking forward to going. I have missed the last 2 years because of health issues. First time I missed Carlisle since 1997.

That would depend on what you consider "better" to be.
True! I probably would have thrown the bike while yelling like a crazed lunatic .

My first urge was to pick up the kid's Dad and throw him. But....I took a deep breath and reminded myself he and his kids live down the street. I don't want to have to worry about the Charger or my other 3 cars getting keyed or vandalized. I did tell him that next time I'm not going to be very cordial. He got the message loud and clear. I'm also parking the Charger about 3' from the curb. Kids are too lazy to take the extra step down off the curb and then another step to get to the back of the Charger. Hopefully this problem is solved.

YOU can't bring the charger. Don't be like all the other homos. Bring the NYB as Carlisle intended. You didn't do all that work for nothing.

I would have thought that the next time the kid wanted to ride his bike that the Dad would have to see a proctologist first.

I couldn't agree with you more. It seems that every year there are more modern cars at All car shows, I can see new stuff at the dealer, last year I didn't see any pre 1950's cars at Carlisle. But unfortunately, if I want to attend Carlisle this year I would have to bring my '19 Charger. I just brought the 300 to a very reputable upholstery shop (in business since 1930). He can't take it in until the end of June. The work will include new front bucket seat foam and leather, carpet replacement on the door cards(frayed), new window sweeps/belt molding and wind lace. He said if I can't find the seat foam and seat upholstery pre-made, he can do it but will ad more time and $. I have found the vinyl replacement at Legendary, but not the M3X leather. I really need to walk the vendor area, see Murray Park for a few things. I am hoping it will be completely ready for 2020. So I have to be on your sh*t list for this year.

At the show near me, I know I see more newer cars each year, and the owners are younger. They can get a loan for a new car easier than a loan for an old car, so that's what they get. But they do spend money on them and they like their go fast goodies. I have the joy of parking back to back with them.

I can already picture myself starting this "conversation" with something like "Hey Azzole" and "WTF are you thinking?"

As much as I'd like to see the NYB again. I understand if its easier to bring a newer car... I'd rather see Bob than the car any day.

We'll see. It really depends on how healthy I'm feeling that day. Heck, I could even decide on bringing the Ram.
