Got Myself A Slabbie Yesterday

Here's a nice 68 300 2dr with white vinyl top and standard 300 interior in white

Funny... Here I thought it was red that was extremely faded.

From what I remember of the Turbine Bronze when it was new, it seems to have a larger red hue as it ages. Originally, it seemed it was sort of a mix between metallic red and metallic burnt orange. My father called it "red", on my car, although it was the Turbine Bronze factory paint. But when I had a quart mixed to spec, to do some touch-up, that factory formula matched perfectly.

What does the data plate show?

Still, the white vinyl top and the black interior seem out of sync, as the top color usually coordinates with the interior color.

I'm pleasantly suprised at how good the truck floor is and hope to get the seats out tomorrow to check those floors. Obviously the qtrs need a fair amount of attention and the tail panel has areas of rust thru which seems strange. Interior isn't great but not too bad all things considered. PO bought it out of Pic N Pull many years ago and of course pulled the 440 for a b body project. It never made it in the b body so I think I could get it back without too much trouble.

I love it! Please keep us updated!

Happy Easter to me! Solid floors with the exception of one spot about 2" in diameter. And the fender tag for those interested.
