So hopefully the end of the year I will start the tear down on my 71 Polara called Delmae. At this point I will be replacing and rebuilding the front suspension and engine. I misspoke earlier and will formally correct it here: the subframe I got is from a 71 Newport. So now that that’s out of the way (like there’s not much difference anyways), what should I start looking for? I was looking at the PST rebuild kit. Has anyone found a solution to replacing the rubber isolators for the Torsion Quiet suspension? And who has used but decent headers for a 383?

PST makes a kit for your suspension, but it is incomplete. It does not include the inner tie rods (and I don't know why), nor the Pitman and idler arms. Just Suspension used to offer a complete kits for Cs, but now it's the parts individually only. Although I've used them three times, some people have complained that PST uses parts from China. I'll let you check that yourself.

They do have complete kit minus the Pitman arm, I got one for my Polara, and will get one for the 500. Just have to select the right kit. Doesn't help that their website isn't the best on a phone.

That's good to know. The last time I looked they still didn't.
