I scooped this of a derby page on Facebook, thanks to a tip from @Tobias74
Got it for an excellent price and has what I need to continue to put three 2drs together.

Was supposed to be a 383-2 but appears to have a 440 in it. More on that soon.

Heres pics.

Score on that interior. Digging the custom lower quarter trim! Did the trailer hitch fall out since it was missing on the passenger side? Bet it was a looker back in the day.

Jackpot, Wyatt! That interior looks to be in great shape.

Agreed! @71Polara383's new donor car is, both inside and outside, a dead ringer (pun intended) for the green coupe featured in the 1971 Dodge Monaco & Polara brochure (scans courtesy fuselage.de):

If you want to see a same-color '71 in all of its glory, have a look at @saforwardlook's '71 Polara Brougham. That GJ4 color is just a stunner.

Wyatt's got the brochure car?!? :poke:

OK, let's play "spot the differences". Other than power windows and the build date (late August for Wyatt's car, obviously earlier for the brochure car), if you look closely, there is a n external difference. Hint: check out the rear quarter panel.

It is still true.....................................

The cars with the worst bodies have the best interiors and the cars with the best bodies have the worst interiors.

Same bucket seats as used in the 71 Sport Fury & GT models.

Yes, FuryGT is correct, as they were used in the 1971 Sport Furys and Chrysler got even more mileage out of that interior, as it was also used in the 1972 Gan Coupe Plymouths.........................

Heck, even the same basic dash pads were used in both Dodges and Plymouths from 71 - 73. Now Chrylsers, on the other hand, never shared with anything but Imperials for the most part, but never exactly the same. :poke:

If I´m close enough, the brochure car has the "Monaco" script first and after it is the symbol. Wyatt´s car has the symbol above the script for most part.

Edit: the brochure car has the optional 2-spoke steering wheel and that donor has the standard 3-spoke wheel.

Looks like the trunk floor rusted from the bottom up rather than top down since it originally had the trunk dress up package A24 which was a carpet with spare tire cover instead of the vinyl mat that trapped moisture.

Thinking the donor and the brochure car are different colors. The donor is moss lime...cool color! The brochure car looks darker, less ‘70s funky.

I believe they are the same color - J4 tends to be sunlight sensitive in terms of how light or dark it looks. One reason why it is hard to match.

That fender tag has a bunch of options on it!

Too far gone to restore?

For what it's worth . . .
I see F3 green in the brochure photo. I really prefer the J4 . . . it really "pops" to me. And I agree - J4 sure does seem to shift, depending on how the light hits it. GK6 really color shifts, too.
