Got the deal of a lifetime on this, and hopefully this is one step closer to getting Delmae on the road. Keith (Mindshark13) out of Florida luckily had a 71 Newport stubframe for sale and with the help from a buddy of mine, got it to me in Maryland. It’s in remarkable shape, and will most likely be the first not rotted piece of metal put on the car.

If you don't mind me asking,,
what did you have to give for the stub frame?

Is that blackish color a factory thing? I mean we never see anything but brown frames in Minnesota.

A torsion quiet-ride! good deal! I just found one from another FCBO member too...I'd been looking for years. Mine was rotted through on the back rails. You must have a hardtop? I've heard that only the HT's in 70 used the torsion quiet-ride with the longer rails. I'd love to know if that's true.

Mine is a 1971 Polara 4 door sedan. Apparently it’ll fit

In 1971 all full size Dodge Polara and Monaco models, including even station wagons, got torsion quiet ride.
