Graveyard Carz New Season Starts November 30

I don't really care for Mark's BS. Don't get me wrong, SOME of it's funny. BUT I'd much rather see more restoration stuff done. I like seeing the reveals they do, Will do body and paint, and whoever does assembly now. I think they should really focus more on that. It seems to me, sometimes Mark just gets in the way when Will is trying to paint too. As for Alyssa, she is TRYING TO understand the Mopar hobby BUT, I DON'T at all see her caring on her dads "legacy". I hear she's a real piece of (fill in the blank) too. There again, a millennial who doesn't really give a damn. I miss Dave and Royal as well, they both seemed like real nice guys (from the show anyway). I like how Dave explained things.

Also, As a "side note", my stepdad said, they came to Carlisle one year, with the Alpine White 70 Superbird from the early seasons of the show. It looked terrible. Very badly done. I'm sure their work is better now with the "new crew". But, I'd really like to hear from the owners who get their cars restored by Mark. Just to hear what they have to say. Here's a story on how I understood it. Someone I know, went to go visit Graveyard Carz to meet Mark and the crew, and to take a tour of the shop. Mind you, he is also from Connecticut. Alyssa told him "my dad is not here right now, come back tomorrow" then walked out on her phone. He went back the next day and Mark was still not there. As I said, this is how I understood it, I don't know how accurate it is.

Lastly, "Cousin Doug" is somewhat of a dummy on camera. How he is off camera, who knows. Maybe he gets "nervous" when they film? He seems to do good work though. Hell, he put an engine together and took apart a 8 3/4 rear end. There might, JUST MIGHT be more smartness than they lead on to

Dave started his own Mopar restoration shop.

too much focus this year on reveals , employee's favorite cars and self promotion. i would like to see more of the actual car restoration process like in previous years.

Nick Garage has them beat hands down... but they have their faux pas.

REALLY? Hammering a camshaft bearing in with a 'broken' claw hammer?

Please don't show up at my house. PPE is non existent, and I have the scrars to prove it.
Yeah, I get it, but these "role models" have kids poisoning themselves painting a car in their attached garage while wearing a bandana like they're going to rob the stagecoach.

Cleaning a part on a bench grinder, wire wheel or buffer they have no eye protection and after slipping and shooting themselves in the goodiebag a hundred times with a small part... they're overdue for a shot to the face.

I've done a lot of stupid crap too. Dumb, broke and impatient has been the inspiration for many dangerous mistakes... did I ever tell about the time I dropped a 75 Impala off of two bumper jacks, while replacing brake cables, on uneven ground... I saw the floor start to move and I saw the car hit the ground, I have no idea how I got my dumbass out from under in time.

In the early 1970's I worked for a company that built bailers and giant shears that crushed buses and chopped them up. I was still in high school and worked a full 2nd shift. Two guys that I worked with....one was a guy in his early 60's. He walked funny and had a weird boot. Come to find out that he use to be a setup man in the field. He would go to the customer and build and set up our machines on site. Well, he was a heavy drinker, still was when I knew him. Anyways he was in the firld inside one of our machines and he told them to cycle the machine while he was in it. It cut half his foot off. Why he was still working for the company I dont know. Lunch time he would punch out and go to the bar and slam as many drinks as he could in a 1/2 hour and come back to work. Another guy was in his 20's and was a full blown hippie. He looked like the white Tommy Chong. This guy was high on weed 24×7 and back then there wasn't any junk Mexican weed....it was all premo Columbian weed. He was the overhead crane operator about 100' in the air. Lloyd (drunk 60 yr old) would call him Santi Claus. They didn't get along at all. Sometimes Santi Claus was so high that we couldn't get his attention with the loud speaker. One time he got so high we had to call the fire dept to get him down from the crane. Lloyd would say south a touch and he would move the crane north a touch. Up a touch and he would move down a touch. I'm surprised no one got killed in this place. Santi Claus loved old cars from the 40's and 50's. He had a trailer on 5 acres and I bet he had 100 cars. He wasn't safe working on cars. Worked under cars all the time on a bumper Jack with no Jack stands. He didn't show up for work for about a week straight. Didn't call out and didn't answer the phone. The company called the police to do a welfare check on him and they found him crushed under a car. The bumper Jack fell.

Please do not tell me that they are going to ruin a perfect 58 Fury for SEMA? I can't watch. Thank god I do not get Motortrend on TV anymore.
