Unbelievable! An Imperial with no A/C!

That one will be gone soon I think.
On a boat trip probably :p

That´s a purty! I see no other biggies except the rear bumper and that it has both the accent stripes and body side rub strips.

@coco

An Imperial is always welcome, especially a 69-73 (IMO).:)

Lack of cruise control and AC seems a little weird for an Imperial but oh well nothing crazy. I think the rust under the vinyl is the best you’ll get for a Detroit car that probably wasn’t in a garage for most it’s life. The rear end is dinged up, and the rear half of the car suffers from some amateur work as other members have pointed out. Whoever sees this car I’d strongly suggest bringing a magnet, or get to knocking. Check underneath those trunk extensions and rocker panels. I’d wager the quarters weren’t redone for rust reasons; but rather, an impact of some sort. Check the panels and deck lid for good alignment. I’d also check the lower rear portion of the fenders where they meet the doors for rust.

However, it’s a 1970 Coupe Imperial and I think personally 1970 is my favorite year for every Chrysler product. Between high compression motors, styling changes, and new advances in manufacturing. Belevedere, Challenger, Imperial, it doesn’t matter, It’s just all so good! It’s the only year, for any manufacturer, where I think the marketing and design teams knocked it out of the park across the entire company. Maybe 1967 for General Motors and 1961 for Ford Mo Co. Complete personal opinion.

It looks like a lot has been changed out mechanically, it’s already on the road and I’d bet dollars to donuts you could probably hop in right now, and take it for a pretty far drive.
I personally have printed out this ad, and when I am in the market again for a C, my next will be a 2-Door HT. I will call in a few months and see if it’s still for sale. I think $3500 is a decent price for a seldom seen beautiful car.

Actually isn’t that a fiberglass plug?
