We are in the process of ordering a new run of Poly Power Valve Covers from the Foundry. We would like to have your input for your preference, "No Lettering" or "Poly SS-X". What if the letter option said "POLY POWER" instead. We plan on offering some of both, but we need to know which way to go for the bulk of the run.

Lettering them looks ignorant... !!!
SS X ,, What the hell is that..? An experimental Chevrolet..?
Poly Power... hmm,, Sounds like an advertisement for your magazine...

How about nice simple, clean.... Done.....

2 bolt 318 polys are a lot more common. Agree with the above no lettering.

I find the lettering redundant with the scalloped edge of the cover. I also think those engines look way too elegant for stuff like that.

A couple of years ago, I saw a very nice Plymouth at a car show. It was kept to mostly stock appearance. One of the few mods was the valve covers. The car was 318 poly equipped and the owner had a wrinkle black finish applied to the stock valve covers. I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture. I thought it looked sharp.

When you have a cool product people will take the time to find out who makes it. You have a cool product, no need for lettering.

I just had a birthday.
Anyone care to contribute so I can flaunt these beautiful VC's under the hood of my Poly powered Polara?

To be honest your car looks great as is. It makes its own statement without dressing it up any further. Maybe if you had a high performance engine I would agree and put these on but not the way your engine is. Mine looks just like yours and I am leaving it as is.

That's just as bad. If you just HAVE to have a call out, A plain "Poly" would do. No logo is still the best.
Problem is just installing a set of valve covers leads to a bunch of additional niffy naffys. Next thing you know it looks like a Chevy thing.
The beauty of Mopar engines is their unadorned, business like appearance. Why change that?

Agreed. You hit the nail on the head. The unadorned Mopar engine has that brute force appeal. I don’t care for chrome valve covers either. As I said above I saw a poly with the stock covers done in wrinkle black with no call outs. Had a kind of Hemi look to it. Pretty cool.
