Hello, I am looking for a clean set of Chrysler 300J hub caps (Yeah, yeah "good luck", I know...)

Would appreciate any leads. There were a couple sets that went at an auction in Newcastle, CA in about April/May of last year. If anyone happens to know someone who has a set, I would appreciate it.

To help in your search, the letter cars used the same 15" wheel covers from '61 through '64."
The center dish was painted red on the G & H and black on the J & K.

I appreciate the info very much! That will help. It looks like you are right about the 300G and 300H, but (i think) the 300K's had different wheel covers. I have a set and they look very different. Will likely be selling them soon.

The K's came standard with 14" wheels and the wheel covers in the above picture. If you ordered the 15" wheels, you got the same covers as the earlier letter cars. Years ago, I bought a K hardtop just to get the wheel covers for my J as they were missing when I got the car.

No, it has been converted. The four speed wasn't available in the J. Seven of them were built with a three speed, the rest, including mine, were all automatics.

I would love to do that one day. How difficult/expensive was it to accomplish? Did you have to do anything permanent to the car? Worth the effort? I would imagine so!

Most of the project was off the shelf parts. The clutch linkage and rear mount / crossmember was common to 63-4 Chrysler and 880 Dodge. I used a scattersheild so I could use a larger diameter flywheel from a pickup to use a 11" clutch. A little fabrication on the rear mount as that was '64 only and I didn't have much luck finding that, so I made what I needed. The only major engineering was the floorboard tunnel. The front half was '63 three speed and the rear half was 63-4 B-body reproduction. The tunnel was the only thing not bolt on and semi permanent. That would be easy enough to return to original if desired. This has been one of the most fun cars that I have had in years. It's not going to be changed back in my lifetime.

That is all really good to know and I really appreciate the information! So you don't have a center console any longer, correct? Would any other consoles fit and look good? I can only imagine how much fun it is and how hard it pulls. Glad to hear that the conversion is certainly possible!

The console is undisturbed in it's original spot. The floor shifters on the 63-64 Chryslers mounted just outside the left side of the console.
