Where to get wiper blades

I love rainx, but these windshields seem to suck it right up and doesn't last very long compared to my 2005 daily driver

Definitely! Put it in my Monaco, cause my wipers don't work, dang Slabbie.

Why not? It's great.
How does it work on heavy dew at 5 am sitting still? You guys got stock in that snake oil? You’re trying to give a starving dog a rubber bone!
I’m looking for wipers that aren’t so big that the damn hood won’t close right. I’ve found some. Thanks

No, I have no stock, just like the product. But it does have it's drawbacks, like you have to be moving about 35 mph for it to work. I had a truck with no wiper motor and that stuff kept it on the road. In town traffic and it doesn't matter one bit. What wipers did you go with?

Blimp is sending me some oem blade holders that he had horded. He too gave me the Rainx sales pitch!
All jokes aside, I’ve tried the stuff and didn’t like it. It just didn’t work for me at slow speeds. Plus, all I need is the right blades. Quick fix!

Good video. On an old pitted glass rain-x takes several applications to start working better. New glass it’s way better. Not much good for stop and go driving.

But some don’t like it, that’s OK too!

I think these are Anco
U16R
19-16

and these are Trico
43-160
44-160

I'm sure a lot of store have them IF you know the number or are willing to sort through a pile of different ones of the correct length. They have no way of looking them up!

I went to O'Reilly and they had the 44-160 and not the 43-160 (Trico)
I went to Car Quest next and they had a 453-160 that was correct as well, their other number was 454-160

The 43-160 is the correct vintage style with the metal frame. The 44-160 will work but has an integral plastic frame, otherwise the same.

453-160 on the left, 44-160 on the right.

Both have been tested and work.
I have not located the other two numbers but in time I would like to see if they will work.

So the list that is good

Correct metal frame style
Trico 43-160
CarQuest 453-160

Functioning substitutes
Trico 44-160
CarQuest 454-160

Hmmm. The lengths are 18” currently on mine. I was wondering if they were correct. The length seems to work out fine, it’s just those big plastic adapter do-dads catch on my hood coming in and out of the park position.
I looked at AAP and, though they had quite a selection, they all appeared to have a similar hardware to fasten them to the arms. Some of them I couldn’t see and I didn’t want to tear open every box.

The cheap Trico's all the way on the right. Red and black package. You can open the package without destroying it. You can even take one out to your car to fit it before paying for it. Just tell them what your dilemma with fitting. They would rather you test it first so they don't have to sell it to you and then return it 5 minutes later. They will even put it on for you if you trust them. Lol.

Ok, I’ll look again. Thank you!
