Isn´t that a tachometer to the left of the speedo?

That and the lake pipes away, so it would be needing only good wheel covers and RWL tires.

Anyone know how do you remove those fugly wheel covers? Is there a hidden screw. Plus, would the original rims be stock under those sh#tty shiney wheel covers? I have never seen them up close.

Plus I love the window vents...love them on Lee...the only one that has them.

This one is one town over from me if anyone wants more pics and some one to look at it. I am positive it hasn't been driving around the area much

I´ve not seen those up close, but they attach with metal clips on the back side and the original wheels might still be under that Imp, but the seller has to verify that and the best solution to remove the covers is to use a prying bar of some sort with a rag or whatever soft around it to prevent damage to the wheels. It´s also easier, if you pry first one edge, then another and go around the whole circumference.

(Just active reading, no further planning here.:p)

I wonder how she looks in person? It would be nice to verify the body/frame solidity and how the engine is running. All that Micky Mouse stuff can be removed. If she's got good bones it would be a good deal. Give her back her dignity.

Possibly. True spun disks like they used on Bonneville and dry lake cars are screwed on. Snap on type wheel covers always need to be removed at any type of race, so the wheel covers were screwed on to keep them in place and add some streamlining to the wheel. You'll see them on Bonneville cars and the occasional "old school" street rod that has a dry lakes/Bonneville influence. In fact, Speedway still sells them. Chances are these are imitations that do snap on, but never assume anything. People find all sorts of stuff and screw it on their cars because they think it looks cool.

In reality, it just looks stupid and out of place on a car like this.
