I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

BBB is useless.....

We bought a company in MD this spring & I can tell you that they have some of the strictest consumer laws in the country.

I found out that an employee at Crook Dodge took a customer's car in for service or new car prep for a joy ride and went 123 mph. It was either a Scat Pack or a Hellcat. The douche was fired!

I can put my Scat Pack in valet mode and limits it to 300 hp and have to have the code to unlock it. Or disconnect the battery to defeat the valet mode.

Graham, does that sales experience survey email have any real impact from Corporate Dodge?

I just filled it out and submitted it. How long does it take to get through the channels? Maybe before my trade in gets paid off? It's only day 31 and my trade still isnt paid off.

Not sure down south but many places tie pay scale/bonuses to CSI scores. Usually Service Department . For Sales it is usually tied to awards. The Dealer has to maintain a certain CSI score to get any recognition from FCA but there is little value in that. What has become a bigger factor is Google Reviews or Dealer Rater. Other prospective customers will read those and be turned off dealing with them. I wonder if the problem is because your loan is through a Credit Union? We find them much harder to deal with up here. Surveys usually take 3-6 weeks to get to the Dealer...

I don't think they are going to like the CSI scores I gave them. And top of all that I knew more about the Scat Pack than the person that sold it to me did. Nor did he care....

You can bet that I'm going to provide an accurate google review and Dealer ratings when this is finally over with.

You can look at Cook Motorcars website reviews and half of them are one star.

I worked for a major military contractor and you would have a conference and a "Best Practices" review and mitigation change in 24 hours after the government submitted a less than favorable action report on any operation/test we executed.

Graham, Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union has been here for 50 years. Aberdeen Proving Ground is right next to Aberdeen. The customer base is almost all Soldiers and Retired Soldiers like me. You couldn't ask for a better customer base. All (most) Soldiers and Retires have solid jobs and excellent credit scores. Too easy to sell cars to the military. Best thing about all of this is most Soldiers move on to new assignments in the States or Overseas before the dang warranty runs out. Except for Retirees like me that never leave. No problem.... I will be using the other 3 Dodge dealers within 20 miles of me after the 5 free oil changes are done.

Down to some serious business.....

I have a little over 1900 miles on the Scat Pack and it was about 80° and dry here today. I played with the SRT Performance Pages a little bit today to get used to the different programs. I tried the Launch mode 3 times today. Once near the Conowingo Dam. I messed that one up a little bit and there was a bunch of people that came out of nowhere so I had to get out of there quick. The Scat Pack has active exhaust so its straight through pipes at WOT and quite loud. All the people just stopped and were looking at me. So adios, I got out of there quick.

The other 2 launches I did close to home in a new unoccupied office park. I was able to launch and accelerate for 400 feet or so. 0-60 MPH in 4.2 seconds. I didn't want to draw attention and the police to the loud noise I was creating. I'll try it again tomorrow if it's not raining and then go to Cecil County Dragway tomorrow night for a couple of runs on the track if it doesn't rain. 40% chance of rain. It will be 16 Friday's in a row with rain.

I'm with you Bob! LOL. I'm going to the Formula 1 race in Montreal in a couple of weeks. I wanted to take my '89 Lotus Esprit but decided to take our MINI after finding out that there was valet parking at the hotel downtown. All I could picture in my head was the scene from Ferris Buellers Day Off...

When I was waiting for the dealer to prep my car. The 18 year old looking kid came over to the salesman desk where I was sitting to get the FOB so he could take it to fill it up with gas. The gas station is 2 blocks from the dealer. He was gone 40 minutes and I bet he put 87 octane in it instead of 93.

Bob, don't military bases list local businesses who don't treat their people well? I have no first hand experience, but have heard about it a number of times.

When I called the Credit Union they kind of indicated that others have been having the same problems. Yes they do and the preferred car dealers are the other 3 Dodge dealers in the area.

Well, I won't be going to the track tonight. They have a couple of the guys from Street Outlaws at CCD and and offer for locals to race them so every hillbilly in 3 counties and Delaware will be there tonight. It will just be a FN circus!

I hope it doesn't rain next Friday.

Well....

I believe my trade was paid off today. I don't see the loan on my mobile bank app anymore.

Only took 32 days!!!
