What a shame. 2nd owner since 1978 with 84,000 original miles. How people can let a car like this deteriorate right in front of their eyes is unconscionable. He took what looks like a perfectly straight car and over his 41 years of ownership turned it into a rusty lawn ornament. Now he wants money for it.:BangHead:

I really do not see more than a grand and thats on a good day.... And even at a grand someone is going to have to want it bad..

He can't even read the odometer correctly. It's 108,4xx miles. Or 208,4xx

So somebody offer up some $$$ or it’s all B.S.
It’s only overpriced until you need something. Then, you counter. Negotiate. Our cars are not the stuff of custom/aftermarket/hotrod; pick up the phone, get the (any piece you want). I understand you’re frustrated. But his overpriced lawn ornament is going to sit. Until someone who needs something off it, will offer what he is willing to part with it. Or not. Free enterprise. Am I happy to have 17 years and $10,000.00 U.S. into my ‘76 Police Car? Of course not. But that’s what it took.
And now I have Indy and Chicago trips as memories with my son. Just my story.

No carb, no distributor, didn't mention no carpet and vinyl top destroyed... but all original.

Idiot....

Plus the crankcase has obviously been open to the elements for a long time, so you'll be lucky if the engine isn't a paperweight...

Man oh man ….what a frustrated people here...
I hope he can sell it to someone ….maybe just for the parts.
It,s his car and he can ask what he wants …….!!
