Just Bought A Carburetor Shop

Thank you John. I appreciate it.

So, I sent the 800 double pumper Holley that I bought what seems like a hundred years ago (1980s). Most of you that have been here a while know I'm a cheapskate, and DIY person. Carburetors I'm about 50/50 if my rebuilds/mods will work. Stock rebuild no problem, modified and a new assembled engine hmm. I decided to hand my carb over to Woodruff's/Dana/Dave for a rebuild and some modifications. Handed the carb off to Dave at the Pilot truck stop in Girard Oh (picked up in a 64 Dodge Dart). We talked a bit about what I wanted and use of the car, made some decisions and off he went.
Well I finally got back by to pick it up today, it was done very promptly, the delay was my fault.
All I can say is wow, wow, and wow!
The carb looks amazing, now I need to get a fire under my butt and get the engine back in the car. I will have confidence in my old carb lighting off and running through the cam break-in with no issues.
Mine is a rebuild, not a resto to be clear so no real effort put into making it "look correct"

Thank you!
I used him as well Dave, my carburetor was plug-and-play. The cars never run better. He does awesome work and he’s a super nice guy and a professional to boot.

Hey Dana I need to have a 2bbl carb rebuilt...maybe also a Thermoquad. Please PM with your address and current prices.
