can't speak for every C, but I bought a Trim Parts carpet last year fr my 70 polara and it fit real well.

I heard an urban myth there's only one company that makes all the carpets and everybody else is just a distributor of those carpets. Yes? No?

That's funny, I read what you said and immediately looked at your avatar and had to laugh. LOL.

Acc, (auto custon carpet), in Anniston Alabama makes most of the carpets you buy from the mopar parts folks and the distributors found at most large swap meets. Fair quality material but the fit is not so good and be sure to verify the padding will be jute...... I bought one for a 64 300 and it came with cheap foam pads glued to the bottom.

I bought the carpet for my 69 300 from a company in South Carolina that makes it themselves. Just over $200.00 shipped and it took a lot of fitting and cutting but it looks good.

Best thing to do is take it to a reputable trimmer and have it custom made.... Might cost a bit more though.

I used to use ther products exclusively... Then about eight years ago the fellow who owned the company and several of his top people were killed in a plane crash near Talladega. The company went downhill right away after that. I believe it is still owned by the family but their quality never recovered.

That's the kind of input I'm lookin for. :sSig_thanks:

It was around that time I heard the company had changed owners, never heard of a plane crash....

So there is no alternate source for molded carpets? Just flat carpeting steamed and pounded with a wooden mallet, and pray, from your local carpet guy.

Pedro is an expert with carpets........

Notice everyone on board had to do with Marketing.
No one from Engineering.
No one from the Finance Dept.
Not one person from Manufacturing.

And the company goes down hill.
What has that taught us today, class?

Jeff Moses was the owner, president and backbone of the company, and a micro manager. Most of the office and plant staff was family and friends who just road along on Jeffs coat tails. There was no one to step up and take control
