Somebody save this from derby ignominy .. UNLESS this isn't really how it looks (old pics, has no engine, or a rust/bondo disaster?). Anybody local can eyeball it for me before it disappears? PM me if you can, unless you want it for yourself.

yep .. but hopin' its "not so bad". meaning "repairable" given vinyl needs replacement anyway .
but, "hope aint a strategy" as they say, hence eyes on it
id buy it just to save it from demolition.

It ought to be worth the asking price, I suspect. Other than the vinyl top issues, the satin sheen of the paint would be hard to make shine again, I suspect. Might as well plan on a complete base coat/clear coat acrylic enamel OEM-level repaint to go with the new vinyl. Interior appears to just need some tlc.

The denser grille pattern and almond-shaped trim on the tail lights also tell that this is a 73 along with the one-year only silver/grey bumper surrounds and the bumpers are just a bit more out of the body than on 72 Imps.
