Appropriate title! My nephew and brother were a tad on the overzealous side when we were dismantling the motor and got ahead of me taking pics and labeling things.

Does anyone know where these go/what they are?

I'm sure I would figure it out when we are putting it all back together but I'm painting/powdercoating and I don't want to stop mid rebuild and wait 3 months to have something PC'd.

66 New Yorker 440 with air (air being deleted).

The bracket on the left mounts just forward of where the speedometer cable goes in on the transmission and hold the bottom of the selector shaft that comes through the floor from the floor change on the vehicle.
The second bracket is used to hold one of the heater hoses in the engine bay, exact location I cannot say.

Left bracket is for a floor shift automatic and it mounts in the two holes in the bottom of the extension housing. The one you have is for 1966 only. 1967-1970 didn’t have that metal clip and had just a plastic bushing in the hole. A 1967 bracket won’t mount correctly in a 1966 trans, I tried it and it doesn’t mount flat and will change the shifter adjustment because the shaft it holds will be moved.

The right bracket mounts the A/C hard line, it goes under one of the intake manifold bolts.

It never stops amazing me the knowledge that guy's here have. By the way questions are never stupid, not asking the guy's that know is stupid.

So I'm out taking the brackets and housing off of my spare power steering pump to ready (hopefully) the last package to send to Leanna and I come across two more mystery parts???? Try not to laugh guys and can a brother get a little help on what/where?

The left one is a clamp for an A/C refrigerant line, the large hole goes under an intake bolt, but your clamp piece is missing. Just saw one in another thread a day or so ago. The right one looks familiar but I'm coming up empty.

Notice mine is missing the clamp in this photo also.........
