What did you do to your C-body today....

I'm sitting in my car while on break, listening to my clock, working! Just started to work after I figured out the knob on the bottom of my dash is for the clock.
On the 68? My 68 did the same thing to me. When I found it it didn't have a battery and when I hooked it up I noted that the clock wasn't working ... hit my head on the knob while screwing around with something and noticed it was working a little later.

I installed some new gauges and a small tach into my C body. The small knob on the left of the 4 gauges is a light dimmer [or rheostat] because these lights are brighter than my dash so I made the gauges adjustable to match the dash. Put in a new set of OEM points I got from Halifaxhops too.

Checked engine oil, started it up for 20 minutes.

Annoyed HOA spies.....

Mission complete!

I should be picking up my seats to my 77 sometime next week, does anybody know of a company that I can send the “power seat assembly’s” to to get reconditioned? I took them off before I sent the seats to the upholsterer, they all work but are very slow and gummed up and dirty. Thx

Also need a company out there to refurbish my “power antenna”. It works as well but is gummed up and works very slowly. Thx

Problems with my rad sent me looking for a replacement. Tried to find a new one but no luck. Went to a local mopar scrapper and May have found one that I can get re-cord.

I posted pics of some of the cars on a previous post of mine called field finds. Does anyone know why it wouldn’t show up in new posts. I can always repost as he has 80acres with over 200 cars and trucks from the 40’s and up that may be of interest to some.

Need some help regarding my Power Seat tracks.. I’d like to have them “refreshed” so to speak. Anyone know of a place I can send them?

If you have viewed it or posted it, it is not a new post until someone adds something to it or comments.
The recent post button has moved. If you hit the new post button, then I believe the recent post button shows up. Or click on your avatar picture at the top and then click on your content.

Brought my carb to the shop to have it cleaned and rebuilt so I can make it to Volo next weekend!

Now I'm camping with the granddaughters, and the dirt track races are only a mile away, so I'm listening to them in the background, very pleasant to hear.

Burnt up a good amount of Dino juice today.... not as much as I thought as my gauge reads 1/4 tank lite but still a good amount. You have to feel it through the rattles (windows mostly) but the suspension work I put into this car is likely the best money I ever spent on a car. It’s not as peppy as my 68 but man, it rides way better than it ever did. Pretty frikkin sexy to boot.

“Dino juice” that’s funny.. took a min to get what you meant.. lol

There is a couple of threads on FCBO with links to reputable vendors that rebuild headlight door motors and stuff. I would try to find the thread or maybe someone here can remember.

One thing for sure.....those are the heaviest FN seats I ever broke my back with!!!

Started to heli-coil both my alternators that my bolt stripped the threads out of.

And my trunk is finally dry since i removed the trim and fill the holes with silicone #thumbsup
