I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

I moved this from my Ram thread.

Something else to ponder....

My Charger 8.4 display lights up SRT when I start it and shut it down.

Strange. My Challenger comes up as Dodge on the 8.4, and Shaker on the dash cluster.

I'm dying to see if Mopar is going to have a Shaker option on the 2020 Charger as rumored.

My first trip to the track on Pirelli 275's.

I made 4 passes.

Didn't use the line lock or launch mode. Drove around the water box.

Best time was 11.82 @ 120 mph.

With slicks I could get a lot better 60 foot times and maybe get in the 11.20's.

There were a couple of Scat Packs running with slicks running in the low 11's. There was another Scat Pack Charger with slicks, a cam, performance injectors and an aftermarket throttle body, long tube headers, Diablo PCM and a Hemifever tune and a 3.70 axle that was running in the low 10's.

I have the Billet Technology engine dress up kit too. All the fluid caps and the engine oil dipstick will be the same Matte Red.

Phase 1 of the engine dress up kit.

Everything in red.

I prefer the stock look. In 9 plus years of ownership my RT only received the Mopar performance exhaust and the hydraulic hood struts when new. Nothing else for her at all. I did toy with the supercharger idea but I didnt want to lose life from the engine.

The plastic factory pieces look so dang cheap. The windshield washer tank cap is already popping loose. Every time I open the hood the cap is off. I drove the car 3 times yesterday and every time I opened the hood the Billet Technology cap was still secured on the tank. Also, I don't like the look of the yellow caps and dipstick. I like the matte red color and the look of the billet aluminum.

I have one on my Magnum and the crap it collects is amazing...

Absolutely, I have one on my Ram and I dump about 2 or 3 ounces of blow by oil every oil change. I would definitely put a catch can on every metric engine.

One thing I noticed with my Scat Pack was how dirty the engine compartment is after only having it for 2 months. There is more dirt and dust under the hood then my 18 Ram has after 1.5 years. The only thing I can think of is the functional hood scoop is and both grill air inlets and the bottom of the engine compartment brings in a lot of air for cooling and brings in a lot of dust and dirt. Oh well, a can or 2 of Engine Gunk and a trip to self car wash with a wand with fix it right up.

The FN HOA would probably call the EPA police if I cleaned it up in front of my house! LOL!
