I was getting ready to move my truck so I could get the Barracuda out for tonight's cruise night. It's always a game of musical cars... Happened to notice something under the truck...

We took the Chrysler instead because I didn't have to move the truck... I know better than mess with a snapping turtle.

My father told me.....in 1965 as a 10 year old, living in the DC suburbs....that a snapping turtle that "git's ya" won't let go until it thunders.

That was good enough for me.

we used to move these with an old broom handle. they would clamp down hard & we would drag them away from our area.
Eventually they bit through and no one got hurt.
