What do you gents think? I may be in the market for another C - and this one looks nice enough. Not too many angles or pictures tho. Anyone know of this one? Or would be willing to take a drive up to see it? Your time and a meal will be paid.

Nice looking car.
Love the color combo.
Looks like a fresh paintjob.
Maybe that's the 1600$ work.
Fresh paintjobs are always a bit of a gamble; you never know what's underneath.
Too bad the seller did not bother to put some more info in his ad.

It's a real looker for sure, I love the color combo it really pops !
The price seems to be reasonable for what we can see in the four pictures. Of course seeing the interior, trunk, engine bay and underside would help .........

If I wasn’t going up for a 3 x 15hr day bar install and it’s location wasn’t an hour and a half from where I’m going in Maine, this would have worked out swimmingly.

I am a 1/2 hour away from there and have never seen this car around. And the license plate is a newer one. Does look good.

Looks nice! Only one way to find out how nice though. Good luck and let us in on what you find.

I should be coming home back to Connecticut for the Fourth of July. During that time I might just take the drive up to Maine, if it’s worth it.
I’m looking for a strong runner. AC and heat are the only requirements. I can do without any other options. I just need something that I can rust proof the underside, and drive year around. No AC down here in the south is NOT the answer. Since it’s a 318 car that’s already on the good side For fuel economy

The odds of a Maine car having A/C if it’s originally from there are slim, but if it does, that’d be perfect. Was tinted glass part of the A/C option?

Whenever you chose to get A/C on a Chrysler product, it was required that you ordered tinted glass at the same time. Both options would be listed separately on the window sticker. It was probably the same deal with Ford and GM cars too.

That’s some good knowledge to have. Thanks for expanding the mental tool box

You hit it on the head - no A/C, which I might be able look past.
The car has had a repaint at some point in its recent life. From what it sounds like - he has a record of all the previous owners and it was a southern car for most of its life till a few years ago. He’s went ahead and cleaned/blasted the whole underside. I’ll need to see in person but it sounds like a car with very little rust.

The engine bay looks very chebbified.

The front seats aren’t original. They look like some kind of highback 1970+ bucket seats?
My biggest surprise is that the car has a console, which doesn’t look like the original style shifter, and has a wood inlay. But stranger things have happened. owner said he’ll be able to get me a picture of the fender tag so I’ll update with that.

I’ve never seen a fender tag with so little detail. Is this a normal thing?

That is certainly the most barren fender tag that I've seen so far. Doesn't even have "END" stamped on it. Seats and console look like they are out of a Cordoba.

Looks like the windshield might be cracked (unless it's just a reflection of a power line). If so, keep in mind that they are discontinued. You will have to locate a used one, or possibly pay huge money for a leftover new one if you can find it. I'd knock $500 to $1000 off the price just for that.
