I'm swapping to discs on my 66 Monaco. I've attached a pictur showing the line from the master connecting to the line attached to the drum. I have no clue how to undo it. How do I?

Just loosen the smaller fitting and remove. The larger hose fitting will be held in place by the bracket but a wrench on it is good insurance. Apply plenty of penetrant to the steel line and fitting and use line wrenches not regular open end type.

This is the type of wench you want. Sometimes these are also called flare nut wrenches.

Thank you all for the help! This is my first time working on a car and always appreciate it. I'll be sure to grab the necessary tools.

This is kind of an ambitious project for the first time.

I'm hoping you have someone to look over your shoulder.

Big John is right, a regular brake job requires some knowledge and experience and a disc conversion needs a lot more. You should have a paper copy of the factory shop manual and I hope your conversion kit has a good instruction manual. If you haven't already done so, do a lot of research before you turn a wrench. Search here for applicable threads but do not just trust online forums or youtube videos, look for some professionally done sources. Good luck!

What brake conversion are you using? I will be looking at doing my 66 300 when the existing drums need new shoes.
