Yesterday I was given a 1967 New Yorker that has been sitting on a trailer behind a friends machine and welding shop for about 15 years. A few days ago, the guy finally walked in with the title and said they could scrap it because he will never get around to doing anything with it and he can't find anyone interested in it. So my friend gave me a call! The body is not too bad and the engine looks to be complete and unmolested. The trans oil looks really good! The tail lights need replaced and the back bumper is rough. I removed the spark plugs (looked new as well as the points) and put some marvel oil in the cylinders to soak. I lifted it up to remove the rims to get some used tires on it so I can roll it. I pulled the back drum off and the brakes and hardware look brand new! The interior is completely trashed. It needs front and back seats. The drivers window was left half down so it is full of coon poop. I going to try and see if it will run and go from there. The rear end (front seal leaking) has a 2.76 tag on it but I don't know if that means it is a sure grip? Door cards are gone as well. Any advice/help/parts available would be great. The car is in Bloomington Illinois, so if anyone somewhat near by has seats/interior let me know. Thanks, Duane
