Here is a shot of a "go wing" factory mounted on a 70 Road Runner that I bought and flipped a couple years ago. Fender tag shows the code.
Yes, I flip stuff now and then. I never got this one home to really check it out and it bit me in the butt.View attachment 88919 View attachment 88920
Turned out to be a real 1 of 1 "U" code 70 Runner.

Aarrrgghh !

Turned out to be a real 1 of 1 "U" code 70 Runner.

I've never been against flipping or to put it more appropriately buying low and selling higher. It really helped finance a lot of my Mopar habit over the decades early in life actually but I'd have to think for a while when was the last time I bought a Mopar and didn't intend on keeping it. I've been out of that mode for quite a while ... but damn it was fun! I loved the hunt! :)

I also have no issues with a go wing on a 70 Road Runner or other cars but it would depend on the body color/top etc options for me to either think it OK or a detraction. I have no problems with them on others cars but am more of a was it an option or not. No right or wrong in my opinion if its someone else's car though.

So what's the rest of the story on the U code 70 RR or was that a joke?

Had a 59 belvedere come in with a generator problem, the boss fixed him up. I didn't have a chance to get any pic's of it. It was his uncle's it originally came from Ok, aqua with white, 4 door, 318 poly, dealer add on a/c, and it's a survivor car. Some minor paint touch up, under hood touch up. It is a beauty when it comes in again I will get some pic's.

No joke, how did you miss that? It even spread to the B body site.

I have heard of an actual U code 70 Road Runner but didn't know Will was involved or if it was even if that's the same car he's talking about, hence the question.

still interested in hearing more about it or your experience with it Will. Do you have pictures?

Pretty nice car but I don't know if it's a real SS because the 396/Turbo 400 are gone and has a 300hp 350/350 combo

This is still in the shop, a real Meyers Manx. We pulled the engine to repair a oil leak.

It started life as a Barracuda, he bought it as a project in progress and had it finished. He tows it to car shows when he has a DJ job. The tow car is his 71 340 Cuda

The only part of the floor that's original is the axle hump, the trunk floor is custom, it's a little deeper. When the tonneau is pulled back the rear seat is still there but the floor in front of it is also custom.

Spring is here and some cars are coming out for repairs
This Chevelle is in for a rear main seal, axle seal and dash away swap
