Going to do another project...drum to disc conversion on my '69 300. Currently reading the massive thread on the subject. Looks like 73 spindles may be the way to go? PM me if someone has spindles. Looks like that will be the hardest part to track down. May go for earlier style if I can source rotors at a decent price for the pre-73 spindles. Let me know. Thanks!

If you can find some 73 spindles, they will be expensive generally. Unless you drive really hard, the 1969-71 rotors are just fine. The only replacement rotors available at all are made only by Centric, at reasonable prices too. None of the others, regardless of what the listings say, are correct. And it is not certain whether the Centrics will continue to be available in the future either. In looking at the Rock Auto site, for example, they seem to be saying "only 2 left" for them, although on another line that lists the same part number, they don't say there are any limits? Confusing???

Too bad you are on the left coast as I will be bringing a pair that I am pretty sure are '73 complete spindle etc. assemblies that I am bringing to Carlisle.

I could have hooked you up, but these would not have been able to fit in your luggage, lol.
