"I really don't get this attitude? Who gives a **** how many doors a car has, a good solid car is a good solid car...."

DING! sounds like I touched a nerve.
Ummm correct me if I'm wrong but it's about production numbers and the great word 'RARE' (not in like the steak rare) but aren't the 4dr vs 2dr numbers like 2 to 1 in production in most cases?

The only time production numbers really matter are if you are buying something as an investment....last time I checked, people aren't buying 73 Fury's for investment purposes....

Again, I don't get the whole anti-4 door mentality. It's extremely closed minded....

Thats a cool freakin car! So its got an extra pair of doors ...i can live with that! ...its hardly run in at 39k ...cant we just get back to enjoying these old cars before the gas runs out!

Do you guys really think those are original miles with the numbers being that out of alignment on the odometer? I was always told that the numbers no longer line up once a car has gone over 99999

Old wives tale that refuses to die.

AC needs checking
Amazing. He didn't write, AC needs charged.

so the miles can be original whether the numbers line up or not? How do the numbers get so out of whack on a low mileage car? And the seat and dash didn't fair well either.

Naa it's not a old wives tale, been backed up by many years ago, not so much knowledge about it now with everything digital. Last I remember was a Insurance person reminding everyone during the Katrina/Houston hurricane flooding. If the numbers aren't in perfect alignment it's gone around. Even the digital odometers can be messed with, a lot harder but they can be changed, just search on the net for odometer fraud. It is still being done.

how can the numbers be out of alignment when the discs with the numbers and the gears that turn them are rotating exactly the same as they did for the last 99999.9 miles?

Funny you should mention that about 4 door cars. Uncle Tony dropped a video today about 4 door cars. I agree with his philosophy that it is an inexpensive way to get a classic car.

I had a 64 Rambler Classic ...and a 63 wagon ....great little cars .....they replaced the 196 with the 232 in 1964 a very good engine that 232

I've always fancied two door fuselage coup cars myself (seems they are getting tougher and tougher to find). However some four door cars do look rather sweet to the eye, this is one of those IMO.

HA HA! I guess I'm a little partial to 2 door posty's because I took my drivers test in one of these! (embarrassing) 'least it was a 3spd on'a the tree so I got the manual class right off.

I seem to remember as a yute that the rear window didn't roll all the way down because of the wheel well, odd I thought.
