The Ram 1500 pick up for the first time ever is out selling the Chevy Silverado. At least so far this year. And Ram has gained slightly on the F150. Looks like GM decided to hold its prices firm to maintain profit margins as the Ram approached. FCA decided to push the base model Ram Classic & offer incentives that cut profits but boosted sales and the premium model Rams have also had a nice increase in sales. This plus the news that the Challenger is way outselling the Camaro & the Charger is out selling the Impala are things I’ve not seen in my lifetime. Good time to be a Dodge dealer.

No, I didn't buy it, I prefer my trucks to have rear leafs, I hooked my co-worker up with my buddy at one of the local dealers and he bought this 19 1500 Classic Express Blackout Edition 4x4

The new Ram PU got some really good reviews in publications like consumer reports, and was rated as the best of the three major offerings. Chev finished last for creaky bodies and poor interiors. I can not say I like the styling of the front end on the Ram, looks almost like someone forgot the headlights, but styling is far down on my list of what makes a new vehicle desirable

I’m considering a RAM 1500, but I tend to shy away from new. Are the ‘15’s much different?

I think GM hurt themselves with re-introducing the mid size trucks. From what I hear they aren't bad vehicles but for most of them they sell its one less full size they don't.

I love my new 2018. Like most here I'm partial to Dodges. This is my eighth new one, the last seven being Cummins powered.

You traded it in or was it a lease? I don’t see a lot of used newer than 2011.

I've never leased . I bought the Granite 2500 three years ago as a used truck with 3000 miles on it. I drove to Columbus Ohio to buy it off of a Mitsubishi lot. That truck was hit while parked in front of my house . At $28,000. in damages they totaled it ....... Thats where the black 2018 Tungsten edition comes in. This came from Maryland at the same dealership Bob bought his South Fork edition. As much as I liked my loaded up Laramie, I gotta say, this one is even nicer, I'm happy!

First year of any new generation always has some level of growing pains.
