Maybe someone can use the parts of it.....
 
With a 318 and lots of rust, this does not have a lot of potential as a parts car either.

The only useful parts potentially are the dashpad and steering wheel plus maybe some trim.

I wonder what that addition to the front of the master cylinder is?

Looks like a conventional split brake MC but I have never seen one quite like it, may be somebody's idea for an after market replacement.

It's not the best pic in ad, but the M/C looked like what I've seen back in the day as standard and FSM shows the same.

I think, because of the way the rust has accumulated on the outside and the shadows of the photo, it looked more like an add on to me of somekind, but I see what you are saying now and agree with you. I don't see too many drum brake master cylinders anymore. I hate drum brakes. None of my cars presently have drum brakes except for my Forward Look cars (but I still hate them). Thanks for the clarification.
 
It is clear that someone loved this car at one point in its history because they made the effort to put a new interior into it. This would be a great car for someone that needs the 69 unique bits and pieces like the grill, spring special trim, tail lights, road wheels, instrument cluster etc. Being a northern car even the dash pad may be intact.
 
It doesnt look like the roof or firewall/cowl is too rotten. Unsure of the floors/trunk/rails. Sure it's most likely going to be parted...just a shame no one would invest their time in fixing it. I see some normal rust for a northern C body and a dented door. Bust out the welder and make up some patch panels for the quarters and lower fenders. Hunt down a decent door and deck lid...you get the idea.
It doesnt take charger and cuda money to build these cars, just lots footwork hunting parts and some patience putting them back together.

Yea now you wake up my mind, that is the drum brake M/C, I didn't like them much either as you needed a socket wrench to take the cover off for a quick peek.
Lucky at my age in that the cars and trucks were only being equipped with disc brakes when I got going into the repair business. The only drums all around vehicles other than dirt bikes that I owned were my 68's Fastop & Fury III 4dr.

Drum brakes were fine . Obviously discs are a better animal but drums were adequate for the times

Agreed nothing wrong with drums if you drive accordingly. Something in the back of my mind tells me cop cars also used drums in the late 60's but the 3" variety rather than 2 3/4". I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
 
Its not hard to imagine how beautiful that car was when it left the factory!
